Location: Castaway Pointe is located just a few blocks East of Historic Downtown Plattsmouth, NE on the banks of the Missouri River. It’s less than 30 minutes from almost anywhere in the Omaha area and only 60 minutes from Lincoln, NE.  The most frequently used highway to get to Castaway from Omaha is the Kennedy Freeway South to Hwy 75.  After crossing the Platte River just follow the signs to downtown Plattsmouth Main Street and go East to Castaway Pointe.

The Waterfront Estates: Approximately ½ acre of Nebraska’s best home sites.  The majestic Missouri River flows softly out your back door and Nebraska’s largest Schilling Wildlife Management area sits out your front door. Association Fees and Services to create Maintenance Free Communities: When you own a river home anywhere at Castaway Pointe, all lawn care (except the Estates), snow removal, common area maintenance and pool memberships (when opened) are included. 

Covenants: Covenants are being established for Castaway Pointe and for each community. Covenants are being designed to protect the investment homeowners make in their residential purchase. Castaway Pointe’s Architectural Review Committee will review each plan to maintain a continuity of design and architectural integrity of an East Coast Beach Front Community feel.

Boat Slips: Nebraska’s finest Marina! The first 20 of the 130+ slips are ready now.

Timeframe and Specifics for Development: Final FEMA approval has been granted and construction of the first Villa and Estate Homes are complete. Cabins are in the design stage and should be on site in hte next 90 days.  All Estate Homes, Villas and Cabins will be built above the current 500-year flood plain.
